Schools
Craven County Schools serve the families living in Cherry Point neighborhoods. Below is a breakdown of school assignments:
- Slocum Village Neighborhood: Graham A. Barden Elementary
- On-Base Neighborhoods: Arthur W. Edwards Elementary
- All Neighborhoods: Tucker Creek Middle School & Havelock High School

Childcare
MCAS Cherry Point offers three childcare centers that provide safe, nurturing, and engaging environments for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Families can choose from full-time or hourly care options, as well as before and after school care provided by the Cherry Tree House. Rest assured, your children will be well cared for in facilities that promote growth and development in a positive atmosphere.

Upon entering Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, one of the first things you'll notice is the roar of jet aircraft above.
